About My Work & Style
What's your editing style?
Can we see a full wedding gallery?
Absolutely. While I don't make full galleries public to respect my clients' privacy, I do have permission to share a limited number of complete galleries to give you a sense of what to expect from start to finish. Just reach out and I'll share relevant galleries with you!
How many photos will we receive?
This varies depending on the type of coverage. In general:
• Weddings: 750–1,500 images
• Engagement & Family Sessions: Around 300 images
• Marriage Proposals: 100–300 images
• Ceremonies & Small Events: 300–500 images
Are there any venues or types of weddings you don't photograph?
No. I photograph weddings of all sizes, styles, and locations — from large traditional celebrations to intimate gatherings. Every couple and every love story is welcome here.

Booking & Coverage
Do you require a deposit? What's the payment structure?
A retainer is required to secure your date and stop taking inquiries. After that, remaining balances for weddings are totally flexible and can be paid in one payment or broken into multiple — whatever works best for you. For smaller events, the remaining balance is due the day of the event.
What types of wedding coverage do you offer?
I offer full-day wedding coverage, reduced or essential coverage focused on the core events of the day, and elopement or ceremony-only coverage. Each option is designed to fit different wedding styles and priorities. We'll talk through what makes the most sense for your day.
Do couples book by the hour or by events?
I prefer framing coverage around the events of your day rather than focusing strictly on hours. Time is always discussed to help with planning and comparison, but my goal is to ensure meaningful moments are covered rather than watching the clock. Your day should feel natural, not rushed.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
I strongly prefer working with a second photographer whenever coverage allows. A second shooter helps capture moments from multiple perspectives, ensures better coverage during key parts of the day, and allows nothing important to be missed — especially during fast-moving moments like the ceremony and reception.
Do you help create a photography timeline?
Yes. Every wedding includes guidance on building a photography timeline to help the day flow smoothly and ensure enough time for the moments that matter most. I've photographed enough weddings to know what works — and what doesn't.
Do you photograph getting-ready moments?
Yes, getting-ready coverage is included whenever it fits naturally within your selected coverage. Those quiet, anticipatory moments are some of my favorites.

Location & Travel
Do you photograph only on Long Island?
I photograph weddings and sessions almost exclusively on Long Island. For the right fit, I'm happy to travel into New York City or surrounding areas with an additional investment to account for travel and logistics.
Do you photograph weddings in the Hamptons?
Have you photographed our venue before?
Chances are I'm familiar with your venue, but if it's a new space for me, I'm always happy to schedule a walkthrough to understand what's most important to you and your team. Even when I've photographed a venue many times before, it's helpful to see how each couple plans to use the space and build a photography timeline that reflects your priorities.
Engagement Sessions & Proposals
How long are engagement sessions?
Most engagement sessions last between 45 and 90 minutes — just enough time to get comfortable, explore a location, and create a variety of images without feeling rushed.
What should we wear for engagement photos?
There's a lot to talk about here, and I'm happy to discuss this in detail with you. At the end of the day, the most important thing to consider is that you want to be comfortable — not just physically, but mentally too. And honestly? Mental confidence is the most important part. There's no point in a killer aesthetic if you're not feeling like yourself, which will show in the photos. Wear what makes you feel good.
Are engagement sessions discounted when booked with wedding coverage?
Yes. Engagement sessions are offered at a discounted rate when booked alongside any wedding photography coverage.
How involved are you in planning marriage proposals?
It depends on your specific needs. If you have a clear vision, I step back and support your plan. If you'd like guidance, I step in and help with timing, location, and logistics based on my experience photographing many different proposal styles. Either way, I'm here to make it happen.
Delivery & Turnaround
How long does it take to receive our wedding photos?
Wedding galleries are delivered within 12 weeks, with preview images typically shared within 10 business days. I know the wait can feel long, but good editing takes time — and I'd rather deliver quality than rush the process.
What is the turnaround time for engagement and proposal photos?
Engagement sessions are typically delivered within two weeks. Marriage proposal galleries are delivered quickly, usually within 48 hours — because I know you'll want to share the news!
How are photos delivered?
Wedding collections include a private online gallery and a USB drive. Engagements, proposals, and other sessions are delivered through a private online gallery.
Do we receive printing rights?
Yes. All clients receive full printing rights with their final images. Print, share, and display them however you'd like.
Do you keep backups of our pictures?
Yes. All images are backed up using extensive on-site and cloud-based archiving platforms to ensure your photos are safely stored for a minimum of 36 months.
Logistics & What-Ifs
Do you limit the number of weddings you take each year?
While I don't have a hard cap, I do try to keep it around 15 weddings so that I have time for other events and sessions while staying flexible. Quality over quantity matters to me.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I'll share an insurance certificate for your specific venue approximately one month prior to your wedding date.
Do you carry backup equipment?
Yes. I always arrive fully prepared with backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, batteries, lighting, and accessories. Redundancy is a standard part of my workflow, so equipment issues never interfere with coverage. My focus is on being prepared so you never have to think about it.
What happens if you get sick or can't attend our wedding?
While it's extremely rare, I'm always prepared for the unexpected. Over the years, I've built strong relationships with trusted photographers and studios, allowing seamless coverage should a qualified professional ever need to step in. In that situation, I would still oversee the editing and post-production process as planned to ensure your final images reflect the same style, quality, and care you expect.
What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate?
Weather is one of the few things we can't control, but experience goes a long way. For engagement sessions and family sessions, I typically recommend rescheduling 24–48 hours in advance when poor weather is likely. It allows us to avoid last-minute stress and create the best possible experience.
Weddings are different. When weather impacts outdoor plans, I work closely with your venue and timeline to make the most of the spaces available. I always recommend leaning into your venue rather than trying to find last-minute alternatives, which is rarely realistic so close to the day. With preparation and flexibility, beautiful images are still very much possible.
